A Little Bit About Us

Welcome to our website. We are Stephanie & Mark (Blue) Johansson of Towilla Amstaffs. 

We live on 40 acres near Taree on the Mid North Coast of NSW. 

Our dogs have huge run areas, bigger than most yards, & we do not believe in chaining or crating dogs as part of the daily living arrangements. 

Our dogs are all well socialised and trained from a young age and get on well with our son, cats & everyone they meet.

We got our first Amstaff in 1996 and very quickly decided we couldn't stop at just one. 

Our dogs are part of the family and that is how we like to see all dogs treated. 

If you are thinking of getting an Amstaff from us be prepared to answer lots of questions. 

We do this to make sure that our pups are placed in the best homes & also to make sure they are the right type of dog for you. 

An Amstaff is a lot of dog for anyone to own and too much dog for some. 

We strive to maintain the loving & confident temperament that sets these dogs apart from other breeds. 

We have gone to great lengths to import some of the best dogs from overseas to establish our own bloodlines here in Australia.

We strongly believe in health testing prior to breeding and will remove a dog from our breeding program if all tests are not passed. 

All our pups are provided with pedigree papers to protect them against Breed Specific Legislation. 

When we sell a pup we always want to stay in contact with the buyer for the life of the dog. 

We are here to provide support and guidance and to answer any questions that come up along the way. 

If you do get a puppy from us you will have a lifetime commitment.
